Upright and electric bass player Edmond Gilmore, studied music in New York with bassist Jeff Andrews and received multiple scholarships from the Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv Music Academies to complete his classical studies in Israel.Edmond performed with legendary musicians such as drummer Bob Moses and composer Steve Reich and appeared in musicals such as Chicago, Guys and Dolls, and prime time TV shows like Dancing with the Stars in Israel. Today, Edmond performs and records with several jazz ensembles and big bands, as well as top orchestras such as the Israel Philharmonic, Jerusalem Symphony and in the Israel Opera.Edmond is endorsed by DR Strings (USA), Markbass (Italy) Fbass (Canada) and Harvest (Germany). He regularly hosts master workshops worldwide and acts as a mixing engineer and music producer.
